How it all Began! It's the brain child of two country boys from the South
Founders & CEOs Ambus J. Harvey and Eric Dennis A.K.A. Robinson
The following are quotes from an interview with Ambus J. Harvey:
The importance of Motown: Because I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, the “Motown” sound was a part of me. The Motown Company and the Creative Artistic Family Culture became a model for the development of PELAPCOLA Records. Positive Music and Family is Who We Are.
How he and Eric Dennis A.K.A. Robinson met through an unusual circumstance: Ambus Harvey recollection is: “I was accompanied to the recording studio by a young lady by the name of Theresa Middelton Randelson. She had recently heard Eric Dennis perform at a Martin Luther King Jr. event and said to me that Eric would be perfect for my songwriting. I then called Eric and asked him to sing something over the phone and he did. I said “THIS IS IT! He’s the one!” From that point, we began writing songs together and later went to the studio. The one main thing Eric and I agreed on was that we would run a decent and respectful company; always “Positive Music.”
In the beginning: And "We" Salute the late Disc Jockey, Lewis Lee, of Pensacola Florida: who gave us our first break and we will never forget!
